Leadership Development

Alpha Leadership Academy (Mentoring Program)

The Mentoring Committee under the Alpha Leadership Academy was established
in 2022. The Academy has attracted interest from young people. In August of
2023, several of the Mentees participated in a youth basketball camp as
Counselors for kids and teenagers between the ages of thirteen (13) to twenty
(20). Interacting with the kids, our Mentees gained experiences in leadership and
responsibility.
The mentees in their numbers, participated in the chapter’s Voteless People is a
Hopeless People campaign, meant to encourage more young people, especially
first-time voters, to register and participate in the October 2023 national elections.
The mentees also participated in the preparation and organization of events
leading to the celebration of the international Day of Peace in Liberia.
